Libby Seward

Libby Seward pioneered contemporary dance in Waterford for many years after she moved here from the UK. She helped to set up Waterford Youth Arts dance programme and also worked closely with Imagine Arts Festival to bring new and emerging choreographers and dancers to Waterford. For Imagine she initiated Youth Dance Celebrations which is an annual event bringing all youth dance groups together to showcase the best of local work. Nowadays Libby works for Gaiety School of Acting and also choreographs and directs movement for professional theatre and opera.
