WYA Film Productions is managed and run by Ollie Breslin.

Ollie would be well known in Waterford as he has helped to run Waterford Youth Arts for many years. He explains how he started making documentaries ' When WYA moved to Barrack Street about ten years ago we thought it would be good to do something that linked WYA with the local older population and so we embarked on a small documentary that became 'Barrack Street An Cursa Fada' which was released in 2013. It took three years to find the money to get it completed and eventually Waterford Council came on board and we have made 7 social history films and the public recognises how important they are.

Alongside Ollie's work for Waterford Youth Arts he also does a lot of voluntary work for the arts in Waterford: he co-ordinates the Imagine Arts Festival and has done so for 17 years,  he has also in recent times being involved in efforts to establish a Film Centre for Waterford and more recently in the Waterford Arts Forum initiative where local arts workers are getting organised and helping each other to develop ideas and get more money for the arts into Waterford.
